Plot

Doc gives his word of honor not to reveal the killers' identity or hiding place after treating a wounded man. On October 1, 1955, the script was aired on the Gunsmoke television series. When the Doc returned after a two-day absence, Marshal Matt Dillon and Chester were both concerned. The Doc couldn't tell them where he'd been; all he knew was that two riders had come into his office and informed him that a man had been injured somewhere beyond Fort Dodge. The Doc had been unable to save a young man who had been shot in the spine. One of the men was prepared to kill the Doc in order to prevent him from speaking, but the leader agreed to let him speak.

Matt is imprisoned by "Hack" and "Alvie," two mad-dog killers who plan to murder him in cold blood, after entering a cabin during a blizzard! On February 22, 1958, the script was aired on the Gunsmoke television series. Matt Dillon gets caught in a blizzard on his way back from Hayes City and seeks refuge in a nearby cabin.

Plot

Jim Corbett's new wife, like his previous wife, has vanished! The organ is used in the music bridges. On November 23, 1957, the script was used on the Gunsmoke television series. Matt, Hank, and Chester are eating breakfast on a Sunday morning when Jim walks by looking very smart. He's actually meeting Lila, his future wife, who will be arriving later in the day. Hank informs them that Jim has previously been married and that his first wife died in mysterious circumstances. A week later, Hank visits Matt to tell him that he believes Lila, like Hank's first wife, has vanished. Matt can't believe Jim, but he has no choice but to look into it.

Doc has agreed to be an umpire at a baseball game, but Matt is concerned that it will not be the same game as it once was, and that there will be trouble if the fans or even the teams themselves cause a ruckus.

Ord Spicer, who sells rifles to the Cheyenne, uses his new Sharps rifles to kill two cowboys. On April 11, 1959, this script was aired on the Gunsmoke television series. + Wild Hogg, the chief of the Cheyenne Indians, was paying Hoard Spicer a large sum of money in exchange for rifles. Marshall Matt Dillon held the Cheyenne in higher regard than Spicer, who was a murderer and a white renegade.

Plot

Doc, Chester, and Kitty see a slow-witted Civil War veteran enter the Long Branch. In Dodge City, Pendel takes advantage of the usual hard cases. His money has been stolen, and he's the brunt of everyone's jokes, but is it all in good fun? Will some Confederate army veterans try to lynch Pendel?

Matt disperses the crowd and assists Pendel in finding work and a place to stay. Pendel's only possessions are his mule and guitar, and he intends to return home, which is further west. While he works to increase his income, the thugs return to play more pranks, including vandalizing his mule. Can Pendel calm the men's wild beasts by playing a tune?

Ed Beaudry arrives in Dodge to assassinate Bert Wells. A showdown appears to be looming, but Beaudry is discovered dead first! On July 26, 1952, the script was used on the show, and on April 30, 1960, it was used on the Gunsmoke television series. The system cue has been removed from the system. Jeanie Wells had been happily married to Blacksmith Bert Wells for five years when Ed Bowdry reappeared, and Jeanie fears he has returned to murder Bert for marrying her.
