"Western Ways." Photo is of an Octopus Agave taken by Nancy Flagg, April 2020, Sacramento CA.
"Across the Wide Horizons." The show title is based on a line from the Cradle in the Wind song which is played during this show. The phrase "Across the Wide Horizons" conveys some of the depth and breadth of the western music and poetry content heard on Cowboy Tracks.
"Where the City Ends." Where the City Ends is the title of a song (by Chris Brashear and Peter McLauglin) on today's episode of Cowboy Tracks. Western music is the place where the city ends and the ranching, farming, cowboy and outdoor world take foothold. The roots music that comes from there is simply wonderful. So, please join us this hour and enjoy!
Today's episode of "Cowboy Tracks" is music and cowboy poetry about Pathfinders.
"Gotta Be Free." This episode of the Cowboy Tracks radio program is called "Gotta Be Free" because so much of the call of the west and the western lifestyle is the desire to explore and to have room to roam. Please enjoy today's western music, cowboy poetry and western swing around this theme.
"Western Edges." Today's radio episode is a mix of western/western swing music plus tunes from bands in other genres (folk, bluegrass, americana, polka etc) who have songs riding the edge of western territory.
"When You're Smiling." Here's hoping that today's episode brings you some smiles and lightness to your heart.
