Here is man, created God like, that is in the likeness of God, the image of God, not as deity but capable of personal fellowship with Deity, possessing many transferable qualities and attributes and the very zenith of God's creation, now reduced to this vain creature, a worm, living in vanity and covetousness, for the beast of the field are more dignified then man in his corruption. The beast of the field and all of creation knows to worship God, Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not, and Luk 19:40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Yet man turns the incorruptible God into the image of a beast. That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man: The cause of all the misery of man is already named and known, it is man.
