What does the Bible say about church membership? This subject is explored in this sermon and why every believer ought to be a member of one of the Lord's churches.

We will examine the N.T. meaning and usage of the word "church." What did Jesus mean when he said "I will build my church..." This Doctrine is one of those Baptist distinctives that marks out the true churches of Jesus Christ.

We are instructed to hunger and thirst after righteousness. WE learn that we are to have a passion for righteousness. That it is not just something we wear on the outside but is the result of righteousness in the heart.

We are introduced to the whole of the book in this prolog which helps us to understand the futility or vanity of life without Christ.

Over the next several months we will be examining the constitution, Institution, Practice and Doctrine concerning the LOrd's N.T. Baptist church. This evening we are examinig the continuity of the church through the entire N.T. making the New Testamant and church book.

Our text tells us that God has revealed to us his mysteries and that we have given to us many things freely. Thihs morning we will examine some of those thing that are manifested to us in this life.
