Sarah is married to a cowboy, a mother of littles and runs a successful business where she helps women feel beautiful from the inside out. She even drives a Pink Cadillac! Sarah is no newcomer to the sport of rodeo. She competed for years in junior rodeo, her grandfather was a college rodeo coach and her husband, Chris Neal, runs a roping production company that puts on many well known events such as the Rising Stars, Rope for the Crown & Oklahoma's Richest Roping.  Her story is full of truth, growth, love, loss and hope. We laughed and cried together recording this episode as she shared her experiences in navigating careers, cowboys, kids and cattle. It's quite the #cowgirlconfession, my friend.

We're kicking off 2021 with the wildly talented cowgirl- Windy Ratchford Lattin of Wynnewood, Oklahoma. While Windy is known by many for her outstanding trick riding skills, she is also full of life experience as she quite literally grew up on the rodeo trail. She is a 3rd generation cowgirl and Windy shares on this episode how her family's rodeo roots and ties to the International Professional Rodeo Association run deep. She will be competing in the IPRA Contract Acts Showcase with her horse Panther at the Lazy E in Guthrie, OK during IFR 51. Whether Windy is Roman riding, working behind the scenes as a secretary or timer at a bull riding or headed to watch her son compete, she approaches each task with class, professionalism and the Cowgirl State of Mind. We are honored to have a living legend like her on the podcast.

On this episode, Abigail Benz shares what it means to SPEAK UP, STAND UP AND SADDLE UP with COWGIRL COURAGE. Abigail has a degree from Auburn University in Global Studies, and she shares how the experiences she had while traveling abroad as well as growing up around horses have encouraged her to develop the "Cowgirl Courage" platform.  Abigail has partnered with A21, a global nonprofit, to help provide resources to those interested in helping bring awareness to her platform on human trafficking. She is also the reigning Miss Limestone Sheriff's Rodeo and will be competing for Miss Rodeo USA in January 2021.

On this episode we catch up with Athens, Alabama cowgirl Chelsey Abernathy. She is currently ranked #1 in the International Professional Rodeo Association's Cowgirl's Breakaway Roping and will compete at IFR 51 in January 2021 at the Lazy E. Chelsey was crowned the WCRA champion in Guthrie, OK earlier this year, with those event earnings helping contribute to her #1 spot in the IPRA World standings. When she's not roping or traveling to the next rodeo, she stays busy running her business, Shealeigh's Boutique.
