She’s a London Assembly Member, not to be confused with the London Coworking Assembly. She is part of the Economics, Transport and Environment Committee. And she’s doing good work with these committees particularly about sustainable transport systems, air pollution and different models of working. She is currently helping with affordable rent with East End Trade Guilds and Guardian of the Arches.

And we are all going to be talking about pushing affordable rent for micro businesses. About London as a 15-minute city, the effect of the pandemic, of course, and we also delved about what casual work means for the younger generation.
 

This week in Coworking Values Podcast, we are going to be doing a quick catch-up with what's happening on the coworking industry so far at the first quarter of the year. 

And we are also going to be talking about the upcoming events like the Coworking Symposium that's coming up this month, the meet-ups and about clubhouse coworking.

Dr. Carolina Bandenelli is an assistant Professor in Media and Creative Industries, at the Centre for Media and Cultural Policy Studies in the University of Warwick. She is a cultural theorist concerned with emerging forms of subjectivity and sociality in the media and creative industries.

In this episode, we will be deep-diving about self-branding, authenticity and social relationships. We will also be talking about reinventing and re signifying entrepreneurship and coworking ethos.

Dr. Janet Merkel is a Guest Professor for Urban and Regional Economics at University of Kassel in Kassel Hessen Germany. She is known for her research work about Coworking spaces together with academic papers about cultural production, development of culture in creative industries and cities. She has a background in Urban Sociology.

We are going to be deep-diving on her research including what she has discovered about the coworking industry, the notion of coworking, the value of coworking for freelancers and the industry during Covid.

The journey of him moving across countries, starting his coworking space and what did it take to get over the fact that he has to close it. We are also going to be talking about Alex helping startups about inclusion and diversity. How they can make their business be more inclusive and diverse.
