Real rest is found in the grace and rule of the risen Jesus. It frees us from fear or pretending with each other.

We were made to enjoy relationship with God. When we do live this out, we find deep joy and satisfaction like nothing the world can offer.

We were made as limited, physical beings in this creation. We are not like God, though we often wish we were!

Total rest cant be found in this world because God is going to do a complete restoration of the heavens and the earth where out final eternal rest is.

Our lives are filled with stress and busyness, and feel far from the rest of the Garden. The Fall has cursed our world and corrupted our hearts in ways that leave us restless in this world.

Rest is a satisfied relationship between God and his creation (which includes us). Our rest is found when we enter God's rest.
