Chittajallu Pullayya (1895 –2 October 1967), also known as C. Pullayya, was an Indian film director, exhibitor . He is regarded as the father of Telugu film theatre movement. In his film career of 35 years, Pullalaih Garu directed around 20 movies. His all time career hits are Lava Kusa (1934) and again Lava Kusa(1963). Bhanumathi, Anjali, Etc.. were introduced to film field by Pullaiah Garu. KiranPrabha narrates many interesting episodes in C.Pullalaiah Gari screen life.
