The fear of man is one of the deadliest fears because it enslaves conscience and mind to the mob, a lawless collective ruled not by truth or love but by fear, as history itself testifies from the crowd that hailed Christ as King to the same mob that cried “Crucify Him.” Wherever men are ruled by fear of opinion, rejection, or punishment, they surrender judgment and morality to the pack and become participants in its cruelty and rebellion against God. Every man who allows fear of human approval to govern his speech or actions belongs to this mob, however refined his excuses may be. People don’t avoid Scripture because it’s confusing, but because what they understand exposes what they’d rather keep hidden. Creation itself testifies to God, leaving no one indifferent only responsive or resistant. The choice Moses set before Israel still stands: life or death. The question remains for every hearer are you listening to Life?
