Why are we all over the place with our topics? Why not a podcast about just one thing? Why is it mental health one week, entrepreneurs the next? Today our hosts talk about the format of the podcast and why the show is like your life - something that needs variety in order to truly evolve.
You’ll love this new short. Recently when recording an episode with champion rugby coach Larry Gelwix the recording had stopped and we were saying our goodbyes...but Larry had more advice for us and our listeners. We hope you love this SHORT as much as we did getting this bonus time with Larry. Enjoy!

In today’s EVOLVE Short we discuss the question “when did you overcome your homophobia, if you had it?”
This is the first in a series of shorts where we will explore the topics of overcoming prejudice in our personal lives and challenging the question of how we can become a force for change in the larger society to commit and be an ally to anyone who may need an extra voice, a partnership or a supporting hand.
At EVOLVE we believe that prejudices and pre-conceived notions need to be examined and challenged in order for us to to EVOLVE as individuals and then as a society. This isn’t some “woke” theory...just basic human evolution and growth born from respect, honor and love. You and I can be different in some ways...but in so many ways we are the same. The sooner we can accept that fact and find common ground of love, mutual respect and understanding the sooner we will EVOLVE and create beautiful things together.

Our longest play yet. We ate. We talked food. We talked music. We talked concerts. It was great having one of my best friends, Lyle VanOrman, a man who has been to well over 400 concerts and has a MASSIVE library of music join us for this fun conversation.
If you like music at all you have to listen to this one. You will walk away from this episode with at least a dozen new bands or artists to listen to. Enjoy!
