This week's show was many things: it was silly...it was serious...it was funny...there was a revelation/epiphany...but above all, it was quality craic. Have at it.

The Crafty Rogues are not afraid to ask the tough questions. Why did Cosgrove have to eat humble pie? What has happened to the FIFA World Cup? And why were Newcastle wearing white shorts at home? Like we said, tough questions!

The sorrowful mysteries, sheepskin jackets, Father Ted, arguing with a chat bot, football, Gaelic football, Australian football, rugby, skydiving, USWNT icons, and nerds on stage. But wait, there's more!

John was on the road this week, but the tyranny of distance didn't stop the boys delivering a belter of a show, albeit from separate locations. Ain't technology grand!

There was a point where this week's show jumped from the VMAs, to see-through dresses, to pregnancy tests and contraception, to the Rugby World Cup. The thing is, it all seemed quite logical. You really should listen.

The boys did a quick preview of the Rugby World Cup this week, and got some assistance from an actual Rugby World Cup winner! But rest assured, there was plenty of football/futbol/soccer/sahhkerrr and general craic as well!

To explain this week's show, let's just use a direct quote from Cosgrove. 'Margaret Thatcher, hunger strikers, the Spanish FA...you get them all on the Crafty Rogues.' And there you have it.

Special bonus episode where Cosgrove chats to Irish comedy and acting star, Ardal O'Hanlon. Lots of people will know him as Fr Dougal Maguire from the cult comedy series, Father Ted. He has also appeared in numerous other shows and documentaries, including more recently, Derry Girls!

These two border county men had a long an winding chat about growing up on either side of the border between Co. Monagan and Co. Fermanagh. Ingerland were too good for 'Straya in the Women's World Cup semi. But the game was played after the show, so it didn't really happen, right? Right?? Other than that, this was a tasty episode. Very tasty indeed
