She has been recognized by the Province of Nova Scotia, the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, St. John Ambulance and in 2018 received the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health, Workplace Mental Health Award. Linda is the former executive director of the Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association and was instrumental in being the first trucking safety association in Canada to facilitate “The Working Mind” for the trucking industry.
