Danielle Davis- Lou What Wear
Hold my wine, it's about time we chat about some topics that are plaguing our minds at CZL. Do you ever sit back and think about all of the dumb sh*t we say that really doesn't make sense. The grandfathered idioms that we all use but scratch your head when you think about it. Also, you know that voice in your head? That one that you hear every step of the way as you make your way through your day. We discuss our inner monologue and why we find it peacefull to have mental meetings often. Stay 'til the end as we ask a very polarizing question that you may want to weigh in on. Happy Monday, zen friends!

Self-sabotage can come in many shapes and sizes. These behaviors can be toxic to your life, goals, and the relationships that you hold sacred. Today, we take a look at the inner workings of sabotaging behavior and how to get to the root of it. We also pinpoint ways to ground yourself when toxic behaviors arise and different mindsets that may be useful. CZL is committed to talking about tough topics to the best of our ability. We are not professionals by any means. Self-sabotaging can be associated with other toxic behaviors such as depression and addiction. If you feel that you need to seek professional help, please do not hesitate to seek the assistance you need. Be well, Zen Friends!

On today's episode, we do a little CZL check-in and discuss what we have been obsessing over lately. We also chat about the increase of the imposter syndrome in our society and then the immense need for validation. Social media and high expectations have created a higher than average craving for likes, comments, and external validation. Today we jump right into what kinds of imposter syndrome you may see in yourself and different ways to break away from the need for external validation. Don't Forget, Zen Friends!!! We have another live event coming up on Feb 13th at Kendra Scott in Louisville KY. Cocktails and styling from 6-8 pm and Danielle Davis from LouWhatWear will be our co-host. This is one of our most highly anticipated guest returns. Zen friends, please welcome back to Barrett Gargala. This time she is joined in the studio with her father, Nick Gargala. You first met Barrett on Ep#68, as she recounted her battle with addiction. Barrett's story covered her relapse and how the love and acceptance of her family were instrumental in her seeking the help she needed. It was one of our most powerful episodes to date, so it only seemed appropriate to have her again to answer the question--- what's next? Since Nick Gargala (aka Papa G) is over 30 years sober and was such a pivotal roll in Barrett's story, we wanted to have him on to help shed light on how he coped with Barrett's struggle with addiction. Today's episode is an emotional story of Papa G's road to recovery, addiction through the eyes of a father, and how Barrett plans on sharing her story to empower others. The path of healing is long and messy. Enjoy the show.
