CRC Kathu Podcast

Your future is not decided by where you come from, it is decided by where you are going!

The enemy cannot take your salvation, so he goes after your joy. He drags up who you used to be until you are so busy looking back that you cannot move forward.

God is doing a new thing, and it is right in front of you. "Do not remember the former things. Behold, I do a new thing." Isaiah 43:18 and 19

We started by faith. We continue in faith. And we will finish by faith.

This morning we walked through Colossians and were reminded of something simple, it's Jesus, and nothing else. Not Jesus and a rule. Not Jesus and a tradition. Just Jesus. Anything that pulls your eyes off Him has nothing to offer you.

By the blood of the cross, God has already decided how He sees you, holy, flawless, restored. That was His decision, not yours. So stop coming to Him with your excuses and start coming with your thank you.And when you know you're forgiven, you stop being a policeman of the kingdom and start bringing people to Christ instead of judging them.

There is a storm going on. It looks different for each of us, but we're all in one. Peter only sank when he looked at the waves. Keep your eyes on Jesus and you will come through the other side better than you went in.

This is going to be the best six months of your life.

We were reminded that storms are not meant to break us, but to build us.

Every challenge becomes an opportunity for God to work in our lives and reveal His faithfulness. In the book of Job, God asked Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job?” because Job remained faithful despite the trials he faced.

His story reminds us that even when life gets difficult, God is still in control and still writing the story.

We already have everything we need inside us through the Holy Spirit.

He is our Comforter, our Helper, and our Counselor. There is absolutely nothing else we need in this world! While people are important and God created the church body for a reason, people can never substitute the place of God or the Holy Spirit in our lives.

There is no counselor in this world who can do a better job than Him. All we have to do is go directly to God, hear from Him, and move on what He has told us!

Today was an incredible day of celebration, honor, and powerful truth!

We honored the men in our church with a life-changing sermon titled, “A Cause Beyond Self!” Men were created for purpose, responsibility, and vision.

When we only look at ourselves, we become miserable.True fulfillment comes when men take up a cause bigger than themselves. That ultimate cause is Jesus Christ!

All things were created by Him and for Him. When you seek Him first, He will guide you into everything you need, your purpose, your destiny, and your path in life.

Strong men depend on God!

No matter what trials or tribulations you are facing right now, Jesus is fully able to carry you through.

Through the powerful message “Stand in the Gap,” we are reminded to put our total trust in Him. God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

All we have to do is step up, ask, and know that He is God! God transforms us from the inside out! Come filled with expectation and see what God will do!

Are you ready to stop just surviving and start truly thriving?

True growth begins the moment you decide to root yourself in the presence of the Lord, because those who are planted in the house of God are destined to flourish! God values the church so much that He builds it Himself, placing each member exactly where He pleases.

Jesus loves the church so deeply that He died for it, and He is coming back for it. If God and Jesus place such a high price and value on the church, we must value it just as much!Through the message “The House of God,” we were encouraged to stay firmly rooted in His house so we can unlock our true purpose and meaning. This is the exact place where God works to transform us from the inside out, making us better so we can go out and impact our world.

Being planted does more than just change our own hearts, it gives us the power to transform the lives of the people around us too, just because we go to church! It ignites a divine fire within us and gives us the ultimate authority to expand His kingdom and build one church in many locations.

Faith is not believing that God can, it's knowing that He will.

No matter what you face, God's promises remain true. Faith gives us the confidence to trust Him beyond what we see, knowing that He is always working for our good.

When we walk by faith, fear loses its voice, hope is restored, and we are empowered to live the life God has called us to.

God gave us the Holy Ghost for free!It is not something we earn, nor do we have to behave in a certain way to maintain it.

Jesus didn't come just to cover our sin; He came to take it away. This means that the Holy Spirit will never leave us nor forsake us. He is a present help in times of need, all the time!

Through the Holy Ghost, we are empowered to live for God, expand His Kingdom, and navigate the difficulties of life, whether our own or those of the people around us. We have all the authority we need to be who God has called us to be! We are not alone.

We are loved, led, and empowered every step of the way.

When we were weak, lost, and unable to save ourselves… But God.Our salvation is not by works, effort, or human ability, it is by the grace of God alone.

Grace empowers us to excel the Kingdom in meaningful ways. God’s ultimate sacrifice is for a purpose bigger than ourselves, it’s for the lost to be saved. His grace empowers us.His love transforms us.

His presence sustains us.We do not live by striving, we live by surrender. Not by our own power, but by dependence on our Father.

Today we were reminded that without Him we can do nothing, but with God, grace always has the final word.
