This Mother’s Day we honour every mother, grandmother, spiritual mother, and mother figure who has loved deeply, prayed faithfully, guided with wisdom, and stood strong for others.
Today we celebrate the women whose love carries more weight than they know, whose faith continues to impact families, and whose lives reflect the heart of God.
Moms, we love you and we thank God for you!
“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” — John 5:39–40
It’s not just about knowing Scripture, it’s about knowing Him.God invites us into relationship, not religion.Through Jesus, we are called sons and daughters. No condemnation, no rejection, only love, identity, and life. Where accusation tries to speak, God’s voice calls us closer.
Where confusion rises, His truth remains steady. Our Father desires to walk with us, speak to us, and lead us daily. He is not distant, He is present, personal, and faithful.
All He asks is that we come to Him.So we choose His voice above every other voice. We choose relationship over routine. We choose life in Him.
The Knowledge of God
God is our Father. He does not condemn us. He does not see wrong in us, because in Christ Jesus, He has given us the right to become His sons and daughters. We must know this truth: we are not condemned for anything. Where the devil brings accusation, God brings love.
Where the world speaks opinions, God speaks identity. God desires to commune with us. He wants to help us. He takes pleasure in speaking to and guiding His children. All we have to do is listen. So we don’t listen to the voices of the world, we listen to our Father, the One who loves us purely and completely.
We are not alone, we are loved, led, and empowered every step of the way.
Wait for the Gift My Father Promised
When Jesus left, He didn’t leave us helpless. He left us with a Helper, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not here to condemn us, but to guide us, strengthen us, and remind us of who we are in Christ.
He convicts us of our righteousness, helping us walk in the life God has given us. For those who don’t believe, there is conviction of sin because they do not believe in Jesus. And there is conviction of judgment, because the ruler of this world, the devil, has already been judged.
God desires to commune with us. He wants to help us. He takes pleasure in speaking to and guiding His children. We are not alone. We are led, empowered, and helped every step of the way.
When Peter had fished all night and caught nothing, it made no sense to try again.
He was experienced, skilled, and knew the waters, yet at Jesus’ instruction, he chose to cast the net on the other side. It wasn’t logic that brought the breakthrough… it was obedience.
In the same way, there are moments in our lives where relying on our own understanding will leave us empty. But when we listen to God and follow His direction, even when it doesn’t make sense, everything can change.
God knows what we don’t. He sees what we can’t. And His instruction will always lead us into what we need. Our response is simple, to trust Him, to listen, and to obey, even when it feels uncomfortable or unclear.
This Resurrection Sunday, we were reminded of the power of the blood!
When God looks at us, He does not see our sin, our failures, or our brokenness,He sees the blood of Jesus. The same God who covers us also leads us.
When we need direction, wisdom, and counsel, we don’t have to rely on our own understanding, we can listen to Him. Our response is not only to receive Him, but to walk with Him daily, to listen, to trust, and to follow where He leads.
Walk by Faith
Today we celebrated as many people took the powerful step of water baptism! A beautiful reminder of lives being transformed and made new in Christ. Following God means learning to trust His voice even when we cannot see the full picture.
Faith grows when we spend time in the presence of God. Asking Him questions, seeking His wisdom, and allowing Him to guide our steps.
In His presence we find clarity for our future, strength for our challenges, and peace in the middle of our problems. When we enquire from Him, He shows us how to walk forward with confidence.
“I AM WITH YOU”
What an incredible morning service we had! We were reminded that God is always with us—in every situation, every challenge, and every season of life.
Putting your trust in God means choosing faith over fear, surrender over control, and believing that He is working all things together for your good—even when you can’t see it yet. It’s not about having all the answers, but about knowing the One who does.
Let God Be God
God told Moses to speak to the rock but Moses struck the rock instead, in doing so he shifted the focus from God to himself, and because he did not honor God before the people, leadership was given to Joshua.
When Saul continually disobeyed and failed to give God the glory, the Lord chose David, a man after His own heart instead.God does not share His glory!
Every blessing, every breakthrough, every open door, it is God who brought us this far. Not our strength. Not our ability. Not our name. But God!
We have to let God be God and not take away the glory that rightfully belongs to him.
Write the vision down part 2!
It’s not enough to receive the vision we must walk it out daily. Even when it stretches us. Even when it challenges us. Even when we don’t see the full picture yet.“‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.’” Acts 2:17Faith moves first. Understanding follows.
When it’s God’s vision, He provides the grace, the strength, and the provision to fulfill it
