In The Seeds We Plant Series #41: Individualized Thinking and Perception, I share the importance of spending more time observing thoughts to change actions. As caregivers and parents, we can use our most valuable tool, listening, to dismantle thoughts that continue the cycle of pain.
When we seek the good in our experiences, we are not just optimistic; we align with the highest version of ourselves. Aligning with the truth within us helps us see beyond our experiences and embrace opportunities that bring out the best in us. Each path we take has something to teach us about ourselves and the barometer of our spiritual alignment. As we model behavior that supports the journey of spiritual unfolding, we remind the next generation of who they are.

Within you is the standard by which to measure all things. The emotional rollercoasters and unhealthy states of being are often due to aligning with the thoughts of the world instead of the core of your being. We align with our emotions, feelings, and experiences instead of the divine spirit within us that knows everything, is everywhere, and in all things. Children often see the world through those they are around the most, and what we put in them is often what we experience---love or pain. Through their reflection, we see our pain or who we truly are.

It's easy to think at times that caring for a child may distract us from our purpose. Parenting responsibilities may seem to interfere with the work we want to do, and we don't realize that our children are here to help us fulfill our purpose (e.g., reminders of patience, discernment, replanting virtuous seeds, etc.), and along the way, we help them do the same.

In The Seeds We Plant Series #39: Spiritual Awakening, I share ten areas to consider when cultivating spiritual awakening. Life can become muddled with unhealthy beliefs, thoughts, and, therefore, actions. But we can sew seeds that will help people remember the divine, powerful spiritual being that they are.

In my Heal from the Inside Out Series #9, I discuss my thoughts about fear and how you can dismantle this emotion and see it for what it is. You have the right to remember who you are and experience the abundant life (in all areas) that you are here to do.
I continue to work through potentially fearful moments and help my children do the same. Both have experienced fear, and it was great seeing them transcend the moment.

Personal Responsibility is accountability for one's actions, emotions, feelings, and thoughts. It is the foundation we stand firmly on when blame tempts us to align with it. We know that within us is the ability to master our minds and control our actions. Personal Responsibility doesn't seek to blame others; instead, we turn to our experiences and ask, "What must I learn from this moment in my life to continue to grow." Personal Responsibility sees experiences and opportunities for growth and true expression instead of problems. Personal Responsibility is the gateway to self-actualization. It is the path of true freedom and enlightenment.
As always, let me know your thoughts.
May you know that you still have an opportunity to make this lifetime great!

If we are truly our thoughts, what is the use of uncontrolled, consistent anger? Anger often leads to unhealthy events within ourselves and the world. We don't have to be angry human beings. We can align with the divine spirit of who we are. The quieter we become, the more we feel and see that which does not belong.

There are enough experiences that can leave you doubting and questioning your life's meaning and purpose. But a change of thought can help you accept yourself and others, and it's through self-acceptance that we remember the divine spirit that we are.

In this episode, I share my story about a planted seed that influenced my health. When I realized that I didn't need to struggle with a certain aspect of my health, my life changed for the better and so now I am helping my children to address health in a life-sustaining way. I share questions you can ask yourself to help break the generational cycle of pain of how we think about disease and illness.
