So excited to finally be sharing my birth story of my second born. It was totally a wild + free birth, but God was with us through it all. We planned on a home birth, but not on it being unassisted. God and baby had other plans!

Yesterday was my Estimated Guess Date for Baby Boy #2's arrival!! So I am currently on 'leave' either soaking in newborn snuggles or still anticipating his arrival.

In this episode, I'm covering the shift from education to mental connection and preparation that starts to happen at around 36 weeks of pregnancy.

For most moms-to-be… as you get closer to your due date, the external noise we experience typically comes from well-meaning advice and questions from people we love, but that can really distract us from what our hearts are saying and  what our instincts are telling us about our birth.

So how do we handle that experience, and what can we do to shift from focusing on material things to quiet?

Growing up and through college, the idea of birth scared me... I didn't want to experience the pain that I saw associated with it. As I became pregnant, I decided I wanted to experience birth as God created it... without interventions, medicine, and the fear that came with it.
