This week, we'll talk about handling fees. Do handling fees encourage owners to work on their dog's behavior problems? 

In the first part we'll talk about the many reasons that dogs get noisy. In the second part we'll talk about the common things that we say that just add to frustration. 

In the first part we'll talk about dryers and why drying is important and not just a finishing touch like it can be for people. In the second part we"ll talk about how shaving or clipping a dog down is meticulous and tedious work that isn't the best idea for dogs who find grooming difficult.

In the first part we'll talk about all of the things that I think about when I'm working with a dog who is new to me and has a history of "not liking it." In the second part, we'll talk about how the process played out. 

This week we'll talk about appropriate ways for dogs to show us, tell us, or express to us that they don't like something, are uncomfortable and/or want us to stop. The truth is that dogs need a safe way to communicate that. And we need to know how to respond.

In the first part, we'll talk about three questions that we can ask to get a good idea about a dog's behavior. In the second part, we'll talk about using that conversation to talk about our safety policy. 

In the first part, we'll talk about adolescent dogs. They're not adults but they're not puppies either. In the second part, we'll talk about the function of behavior and how knowing what happens directly before and directly after will help you change that behavior. 

In the first part, we'll talk about what we're seeing when we think a dog is stubborn, willful, or defiant. In the second part, we'll talk about how that relates to reinforcement and punishment. 

This week we'll talk about how waiting for a dog to stop struggling is different than working toward Calm, Comfortable, and Cooperative. 

This week, I'll talk about a few dogs that I worked with this week and give you some examples of how I handle things.
