For years, I’d work with therapists/doctors/practitioners, and they’d ask me about my “stress levels.”
My response was always the same: “Nothing I can’t handle.” 
I mean….I’m “Gen X” – we were taught to have a strong work ethic, and prioritize responsibilities over addressing our stresses….and I believed that acknowledging stress was a sign of weakness.
Just bite the bullet, right?
On top of all that, I def wasn’t managing my energy back then. Which meant….I was routinely collecting other peoples’ emotions/energetic crap, and it took a toll on my physical body!
The crazy part? – I didn’t recognize it as “stress.”
And I have a feeling a lot of you can relate!
