Motherhood itself is a very special journey, taking this journey while running a beauty business requires a lot of structure and balance - both of which are usually learned as we raise our babies and our businesses.  In this episode my guest Tara, who is an extra special mama, discusses her unique journey through motherhood while growing her boutique spa business.   She explains why she believes maternity leave is a necessity, how she strives for balance, and her special gift of surrogacy.  Tara tells us how she juggled pregnancy & postpartum anxiety/depression while growing her business and how the support of her husband has been the vital key to making it through it all.  Her story is one that is sure to warm your heart and make you realize that the art of juggling raising babies and a beauty business, is however you choose to create it!  Enjoy.

As a busy mama and owner of not one but two beauty businesses, there are no days off.  My guest Rachel, of Organic Bronzing Studio & Fairy Bronze Mother,  a  busy toddler mom describes this first hand.  Typically the only down time is when the baby is sleeping.  The struggles and exhaustion experienced as a BOSS and as a MOM, especially of a toddler boy,  is something no one can really prepare you for.  Rachel discusses with me how being a mom has made it so much easier for her to have boundaries and non-negotiable.  As a previous work-a-holic, she now knows now that her priorities are with her family.  Lastly, we discussed the thing that she wish she would've been told being a mama running a beauty business and it's something you probably wish YOU"D been told too!

My guest is not only a Mama but she is also a pioneer in the Sunless Industry.  Fabiola shares her story of coming to Miami from Ecuador, as a single mom with her young son and finding happiness in the Sunless Industry.  Her journey wasn't always easy but the struggle of raising her son as a single mom has made her stronger.   

In this episode she discusses how being a mom has definitely made her more patient and how starting and growing her business with her son by her side, has been the most rewarding thing she has done.  She started out airbrush tanning 20 years ago and has built an amazing reputation.  

Fabiola is known as Miami's go-to girl for a glow.  She has a roster of die-hard clients—including Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, CardiB, Zac Efron, Matt Damon, Paris Hilton, Dan Marino, to name just a few and is responsible for their gorgeous, streak-free, golden hues while they're in Miami.  She has also written her own ebook- "Mastering The Art of Spray Tanning"  teaching how to master her technique.
