Today I want to thank a teacher and artist who taught me to see the world differently. I want to also thank an artist who taught me to relax and have fun while making art.

The Halloween season holds many tales of terror and truth😉 Here is one such tale.

Keenesburg, CO about an hour east of where I live in Longmont is the home of the oldest and largest sanctuary for rescued large carnivores (tigers and lions and bears and wolves to name a few) in the world. 550 animals have been saved and roam the 789 acre sanctuary. These animals come from appalling conditions. Private homes, pay-to-play clubs, small zoos, and other places where they were not properly cared for.

Curiosity, even trivial, broadens my world. Here are a few trivial matters I rediscovered this week.
