There are several things you can do to improve your Irish language learning process. You could start by immersing yourself in Irish (by listening to audio and watching videos such as our Irish pronunciation videos) or by finding a group of people to practice what you’ve learned.
Creating your own study group is a good way to practice the language with other people. Learning Irish on your own is great, but it’s always better to have someone to practice the language.
You can start your study group by going to Irish Gaelic events in your area (such as immersion weekends) and meeting people which have the same interests as you. If you want some help in this direction and also need some tips on learning Irish Gaelic, please give the rebroadcast of the 40th Bitesize Irish Gaelic Podcast episode a listen.
In this re-run of the Bitesize Irish Gaelic podcast, in the English language, you can meet Devin Blankenship who visited Ireland several times and decided to learn the language. Devin founded a regular study group in Bloomington, Indiana (where they also run their annual immersion weekend).
