  • The Soul- The Heart of Salvation
The sermon defines the human soul as the essential component of life that distinguishes humanity from animals, rooted in Genesis 2:7. It explores the tripartite nature of man—spirit, soul, and body—and emphasizes that salvation concerns the eternal state of the soul rather than physical preservation. The speaker argues that the soul is the seat of discernment, emotion, and spiritual connection with God, requiring a daily choice to follow Christ over fleshly desires. Through various scriptural references, particularly from Job and the Gospels, the message warns against hypocrisy and highlights that one's eternal destiny depends on the condition of their soul in relation to God.

  • The new song - Redemption through the blood of the Lamb
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; (Revelation 5:9) *1/ A new song. 2/ The singers. 3/ What they sang.* **Sermon Summary:** The sermon centers on Revelation 5:9, highlighting the worthiness of Jesus Christ to open the sealed book due to His sacrificial death and redemptive work. It explores the 'new song' sung by the redeemed from every nation, emphasizing that salvation is achieved solely through the blood of the Lamb. The message contrasts Satan's kingdom with God's sovereign plan, assuring believers of ultimate victory and the establishment of a new creation. By examining the context of Revelation, the preacher illustrates how Christ's authority supersedes all earthly and spiritual powers. The congregation is encouraged to join this heavenly chorus by recognizing their own redemption and living in faithful obedience.

  • The Truth That Guards Us
Spiritual deception is real, and false teaching doesn't always look obviously dangerous. In 1 Timothy 4:1–5, Paul warns that some will depart from the faith by following deceptive spirits and false teachers. Their message may sound spiritual, but it contradicts God's Word and distorts the goodness of God's creation and the gospel. How can we recognize the counterfeit? By knowing the genuine article. God's Word exposes falsehood and reminds us that every good gift comes from our good Creator and is meant to be received with thanksgiving. Most importantly, salvation is not something we earn through religious performance or self-denial. False religion says DO; the gospel says DONE. False religion says ME; the gospel says JESUS.

  • WALKING ON LEVIATHAN | Leaving the Boat to Follow Jesus | Matthew 14:22–33
In Matthew 14:22–33, Jesus reveals Himself as the divine King who has authority over creation, chaos, and every spiritual power. As the disciples struggle against the storm, Jesus comes to them walking on the sea. The waters that terrify the disciples are already beneath His feet. Against the biblical imagery of the chaotic sea and Leviathan, this passage gives us a powerful picture of Christ's absolute authority over everything that brings fear, disorder, and opposition. But then Jesus calls Peter out of the boat. Faith requires more than recognizing who Jesus is. It requires trusting Him enough to step out when He calls. Peter walks on what should have overwhelmed him as long as his eyes remain fixed on Christ. What looks like chaos beneath our feet is still under the authority of Jesus Christ.
