Creative Conversations with Roger Humphrey

Talking shop with voice and piano teacher Marie Vavro.

A wonderful conversation with Geoff Sanderson. Geoff is in entertainment management currently involved with movie and tv production.

I had a lovely chat with former colleague Ashley Korcal. Just two music teachers talking shop and swapping stories.

Friend and long time duet partner Lisa Moore (flutist) and I spent some time on Zoom catching up.

I had a very inspiring chat with flutist and life-coach Tess Miller about how the pandemic has affected us.

I had a nice chat via Skype with award-winning violinist and conductor of the State Orchestra of Uzbekistan Tigran Shiganyan. If you visit his YouTube page you can watch him in action (spoiler alert: you're going to like it)

Had a great time chatting with my old friend guitarist Steve Pinckney. Steve has played with a lot of people including the great Chuck Berry and has some awesome stories to tell. If you get the chance you can watch and hear Steve play on WKAR's Backstage Pass TV show. Please click the subscribe button. It helps....

Very happy to be joined by Jim Hoffmaster (Kermit on Showtimes "Shameless") for a great conversation. You should listen to Jim's podcast or visit his IMDb page.  I'm sure you will enjoy them.

I had a fun conversation with Dick Rosemont. Dick owns a used record store in Santa Fe. We chatted about many things but mostly classical rock in the midwest. Dick knows more about this than anyone I know. If you would like to know more about this or would like to do a little business with Dick please visit The Originals Project.

I felt very fortunate to spend time with Anthony Glise and get to know him a bit. He's very smart and very talented as a guitarist, composer, and educator. During our conversation he mentions that he is giving away his latest CD "Dream Scenes" through his website AnthonyGlise.com. I downloaded it easily and it's wonderful. I also urge you to go to his YouTube Channel and listen to his larger compositions.
