I was tinkering this week with different versions of podcasting in the car this week, and out of the three recordings, I'm happy with this setup the best! Shotgun mic and external recorder now setup to podcast in the car! Super excited about that!

Hi folks!

I lost my phone yesterday and it took me all of Thursday night to get it back. Alas, here is the recording from yesterday before all hell broke loose. It gets pretty intense again, in regards to my failed attempts to make more time for life and work and art stuff. I'd like to offer this bit of honesty as a reminder that we all have to pick our battles when it comes to being a working-class creative.

Also: Check out this poem I wrote as an example of how to be inspired by a place you go to all the time: Your workplace! I'm hoping I can turn this into a short series of exercises. More to come!

After being sick for most of the holidays, I get to sit and revisit my resolutions to be a better working-class creative and pass on some bite-size helpings of working-class productivity, thoughts on creativity, and cats meowing in the background.
