In this episode we got the chance to see the inner workings of an up and coming new rapper's process and delved into the many facets of being a hip-hop and rap artist who is completely original.

Lyricism was one of the many topics discussed, something Renø prides himself on as being authentic. Though he did concede that several artists have influenced him over the years. Ranging from Michael Jackson to Chris Brown, Wutang to Hopson.

This is Rob and David! They’re a power couple based out of Sioux City, Iowa. They gave us insight on how they have been able to turn their hobbies and passions into full-time businesses.

Silk & Thorn was created by David who specializes in engagement, wedding and elopement photography. "Silk" is associated with beauty, delicacy and soft emotions, while "Thorn" represents dramatic and bold emotions. These two aspects complement one another more than one would think.

Rob talked about the importance of having and being a support system. Shortly after David started doing photography full time Rob was able to pursue his career in real estate. He gave us tips on how he stays organized and explained how he and David balance one another out.

Josh Kotrous is an extraordinary talent in the Omaha art scene. His photography has been lauded by others as innovative and unique. Using lighting and an expert framing perspective Josh captures scenes that are awe inspiring and influential.

We got the chance to sit down with Shep and talk about the various challenges that arise when taking portraits. From building a rapport with models, to uncovering a person’s confidence we discussed a lot about the general processes of photo taking.

Gonzalo Avalos also known as “Revelgy” is a music producer and hip-hop artist. Influenced strongly from his time living on the East Coast, but is always learning from artists in all genres.
