Darragh McKeon is a writer and former theatre director originally from County Offaly who now lives near Miltown Malbay. His acclaimed debut novel All That is Solid Melts Into Air uses the Chernobyl disaster as a backdrop and chronicles the collapse and ultimate end of the Soviet Union. At the time of recording Darragh is just about to complete his second novel. We have a wide-ranging conversation about his early influences, and his experiences in Dublin, Chicago, Letterfrack, London, New York and more recently in County Clare.
