This is not a new phenomenon, when people are made desperate, eg, the majority of Americans can't afford a 400$ emergency, which pretty much rules out EVERY emergency... desperate people are vulnerable to believing desperate things - this is not 'rocket science'

Necessary now more than ever, 60% of the Capitol Rioters suffered financial humiliation or was suffering financial distress (Washington Post, 2021) - if not, iceberg ahead...

It's about the power, if we can outgrow this drive WE can make it, if we can't it's game over humans... power corrupts because it eats itself

Privatization is the end goal...the end of society (Thatcher), the end of community, the end of public - anything... Cyberpunk was correct - the Age of the Megacorporations is upon us who see you as only a resource to be consumed - the opposite of democracy

Did you know that if you are out of work for like a month, you are not even counted, not even valued by the bean counters as a stat, as a number, for unemployed? Can't imagine why in the world they want to fudge the numbers, right?
