    Exploring fashion as a vehicle for identity, Anne and Elisa's insightful conversation explores fashion in the regional landscape, touching on fast fashion, affluenza, development, tattoos and is fashion fine art. 


    Anne dedicates her time to fostering and advocating West Australian artists and designers. In her professional role as Director of Fashion Studies at Curtin University, she seeks new opportunities that expose students to the changing nature of the fashion industry through collaborative and cross-disciplinary projects and promotes the Western Australian Fashion Industry through research, presentations, collaborations and exhibitions.

    Elisa Trifunoski is The Junction Co.'s Regional Curator and manages the exhibitions and major projects at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery+Studio.

    What if you thought you were the last of your kind? The Last Numbat believes she may be the last numbat in the world! As she bravely ventures out to explore the world beyond the safety of the log she calls home, you are invited to help tell her story. Twelve audience members will bring the Numbat to life as they become puppeteers and learn to manipulate this large-scale marionette.

    Meet Spare Parts Puppet Theatre designer and puppet maker Leon Hendroff, the brain child behind this large scale interactive sculptural work has been created by Australia’s renowned puppetry company, as he speaks with the Creative Director of HATch Theatre Elisa Batchelor.

    The Last Numbat is a large-scale, interactive performance installation that uses puppetry to explore connection with each other and the sustainability of our natural environment, and showcased in Hedland late 2020.
