One thing lockdown has highlighted, is that we'll never take our hairdressers for granted again. They deserve a medal for the creativity they employ in transforming our lanky locks - allowing us to express ourselves through the way we wear our hair.

One such talented individual is Freya Haines - an amazingly skilled and creative hair and colour expert. Freya debunks some myths and preconceptions about the industry, discusses her sources of inspiration, and goes deep into the art - and science - of hair colouring. Plus we discuss her new platform for positivity, The Press Pause Movement.

FasterIdeas.com founder and editor Joanne Oatts talks to Hatty Ashdown, comedian, writer and broadcaster

Hatty is a super funny, multi-talented human with many strings to her bow. She's an actor and stand-up comedian, the host of podcast Funny Mummies, runs the baby-friendly comedy gig Screaming with Laughter, and is the co-writer of Comedy Central sitcom, Give Out Girls. Hatty talks about the influence of her family, why she loves writing on the train, and the technique she uses from Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way when she's stuck for ideas. 

The team at Faster Ideas were really lucky to work with Hatty on our comedy short Don't Sell the Tiger a few years back (watch here), so we already knew Hatty was super fun to be around. Thanks to Hatty for bringing us more than a few smiles. Enjoy!

In this interview, Matt talks about how he got into printing, and shares insights about the influence of music and the importance of memory in his work, He shares how he landed on printing as his favourite medium - and how learning how 'do a dance' with the press and 'embracing chaos' are all part of his artistic process.
