The COVID situation has affected everything around us. We’re not unaware of some of the devastating effects it’s had on freelancers. Our goal has been to encourage + open conversations, but with the state of things now, it feels appropriate to end season one early. We’re going back to the drawing board to explore what could be better resourcing for you all.

Do you typically think of copying as a bad thing? If you’re copying, then charging for the work or taking credit for it, it’s awful. Don’t do it. But, have you approached copying with the desire to learn? Copying is a learning tradition that has been around for hundreds of years. The Louvre started their copyist program in 1793 and it continues today. In fact, most major museums have copyist programs for artists to copy masterpieces as part of their learning. So… is copying all bad? We’re discussing exactly what copying is, what it gives you and how we can grow from it.
