I have been an admirer of Curtis for many years and having the chance to sit down with him in his home studio and to hear his story was something I never imagined would happen. He has taken many guitar and musical influences and blended them to create his own sounds and styles, now influencing others. I must say that though I have been around guitarists and bands in many settings, I never took the time to actually learn how an electric guitar works and the many ways in can be shaped and used.
