All of us need to work at forgiveness, both when someone seeks to forgive us, and when we need to forgive another. In that way we can truly Live for the Lord.

So many in our world today want to see a miracle before they will believe. But as believers, we know that Faith comes first. Like the Canaanite woman in the Gospel, great Faith comes first, then we see the miracles.

Here is the homily I gave for the Feast of the Transfiguration. This homily begins a series entitled, "Seeing is Believing." For many people today, they refuse to believe in anything they cannot see with their own eyes. This trend has lead to an increase in the number of "nones" who claim to have no faith at all. As believers, we must work at being the Transfigured Christ for those who need to see before they will believe.

What do you do when someone comes to you, knowing you are a good practicing Catholic, and mentions a sinful situation in which they are going to engage? For instance, many couples may ask a priest to bless them as they are preparing to go to and In Vitro Fertilization clinic. In that instance, we are to love the sinner, but we should also warn the sinner we love. Randi Hochenberger joins me to discuss how and when to say something to the sinner we love.

Here is the homily I gave for the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time. This is the last in the series, "I Chose You." Jesus calls us to bring our burden of Sin to Him and accept the Yoke of the Cross. The Freedom Christ offers is the freedom from Sin. Go to Him with your burden of Sin and He will give you rest.
