The book of Acts is all about the mighty Acts of God. He acts out as a violent wind and fire filling and enabling 120 people to speak the Gospel in the native languages of visitors to Jerusalem from 14 countries, Acts 2:1-13.

This week we'll be looking at how God has empowered us with gifts, and how we can best use those gifts to server others and God.

We have spent the last couple weeks remembering and celebrating the last week of Jesus's life. But what happened a week after? The answer is very important to how we live our everyday lives.

For the next few weeks, we will be focusing on the six miracles of Golgotha, the ‘place of the skull’, where Christ was crucified. Five explicit miracles are stated in Matthew 27:45-53 and the sixth is implied in John 20:6, 7. Amid the main miracle of the crucifixion these others can be glossed over, ignored or trivialized. They are: darkness, tearing of the Temple veil, earthquake, opened graves, undisturbed grave clothes of Christ and revival of dead saints.
