Rooted in some of the Hebrew proverbs and demonstrated well in the life and ministry of Jesus, there is a critical reminder and teaching found in the encouragement and exhortation by James to the early church: “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry…” (James 1:19).  Join us this Sunday as we continue to explore how we can “BLESS” those around us who do not yet know Jesus by the simple – yet not so easy – missional practice of listening with care.

This Sunday we will be beginning a 5 week series called “B.L.E.S.S.” where we will be exploring the beautiful Biblical gift that we have to receive and shine the light of the Gospel. Come and (re)discover fresh and uncomplicated ways of how we can be a Kingdom blessing to the people in our lives and community. We begin this Sunday by being reminded from various Scriptures how important it is to “Begin with Prayer” and depend upon and trust the Holy Spirit in this process.
