'Tis the season to give...or to get?? As we continue forward into the holiday season, we'll be taking some time this Sunday to consider how God's incredible grace relates to the act of giving...which ultimately propels us into lives of greater generosity.

Our direction matters. Centered on and pointing toward Christ. Sent out together. Intentional about we engage with each other. We now have one more Sunday in this fall series where we will be considering one more aspect of how direction matters in the whole picture of how we live.

Our direction matters. This is what we've been talking about on Sundays for a few weeks now. Jesus at the center...the most important direction being that you and I are turning and moving toward Him...and that together we are moving outward in mission to impact our community and beyond. But there is another very important direction that matters in how we live out our lives and faith together as a family across all ages...one that we'll be exploring further this Sunday as we gather for worship and celebration of communion. Our direction matters...which way we’re facing and heading. It matters a lot. Join us this Sunday as we begin our fall sermon series that will help us to further Biblically understand and live into what it looks like to encounter Jesus, become like Jesus, and impact our world for Jesus.

This week will be a team sermon from several members of the team who went to the Dominican Republic this summer. The overall message will be The Joy of Partnership in Ministry and we’ll tie it in to Paul’s words in the Letter to the Philippians.

This whole weekend was focused around dreaming about and discerning what God is doing and where He is leading us as a church. This Sunday we not only remembered some of our original dreams but were also reminded from the Gospel about who we are and what our shared mission and ministry is all about as we move forward together.

As we continue to move toward our “Dream Again” weekend at the end of the month, join us this Sunday as we consider how the pulse of the Philippians helps us to understand both our own PULSE and road ahead together here at Creekside.
