  • Genesis:Beginnings (Genesis 101)
Alan Crim :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, April 12, 2015
"What we know about God, about creation, about ourselves, and about salvation begins in Genesis. It provides the theological pillars on which the rest of the Bible stands. If we want to understand who God is, what He has done, and what He will do, we need to know Genesis." (Kent Hughes) Alan Crim starts our new series on Genesis and presents an introductory message on the Bible's first book, touching on its authorship, creation, design, and why it matters today. The same God who spoke creation into existence would come to earth to make it clear for us (Luke 24:26). Alan's message follows a brief announcement about our upcoming "Creekside U" session from Mark Kline.

  • Easter: If He Did Not Rise
Nick Reed :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, April 4, 2015
"...if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins." (1 Corinthians 15:17) Nick Reed preaches an Easter Sunday message with some surprising insights on why Jesus didn't just come down off the cross, how His crucifixion is good news for the good, the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly, and why it's more reasonable to believe in Jesus' resurrection than any explanations offered by skeptics. If He did not rise, our faith is in vain, and Christians are without hope or power for life. Because He did, we have a reason to celebrate!

  • Mark, Week 34: It Is Finished
Nick Reed :: Creekside Church :: Sunday, March 29, 2015
With Jesus' dying breath, He declared, "It it finished." What was finished in Christ's sacrifice for our sin? Nick Reed preaches a Palm Sunday message on 3 results of our Lord's finished work on the cross: our redemption, our adoption, and our salvation. Our shame and fear should be short-lived because of God's grace. Nick's message, which concludes our series on the Gospel of Mark, follows an announcement from Heather Reed about our Easter Egg Hunt April 4th.
