At the foot of Mount Fuji nestled less than 100 miles from Tokyo, sits the Aokigahara Forest.  One of the spookiest spaces as it has the 2nd highest suicide rate, coming in second to the Golden Gate Bridge.

Some believe the forest is haunted by spirits of the past who were left to starve, some believe it's the spirits of those who have taken their lives.

Toni Lee Sharpless was a 29 year old single mother who lived in Downington, Pennsylvania.

On August 22, she kissed her daughter goodnight, and headed out for a much needed time out with friends. Sadly, that would be the last time her family would see her.

The next morning, her friend, Crystal called saying that Toni had abandoned her on the side of the road...only to find Toni never made it home.

More than 10 years later, her body nor her car have ever been recovered.

One of my favorite spooky space entities is the lighthouse.  With their rich history, their looming solitude, and the tales they tell, it's no surprise that most of them have a spirit or two lingering around.

This week, I'll take you into the St. Simons Island lighthouse, located in Georgia and the St. Augustine lighthouse, located in Florida.

In 2001, Terry King was found inside his Pensacola, Florida home - his two sons missing.  Police canvassed the neighborhood, hoping to find the young boys alive, not able to find much information.

When they get their first lead, the news as to whom the murderer is shocks the community.

March 31, 1922 - 5 members of the Gruber Family and their maid, her first day on the job, were murdered on their small Bavarian Farm just North of Munich.

The previous maid left six months prior as she believed the house was haunted.  She'd hear footsteps and voices in the attic, on top of a constant feeling of being watched.
