Today we're going to be talking about one of the most tragic and creepy historical moments in our nation's soil. The tale of families trying to pioneer their way over to the West Coast for a new beginning. Between bad luck and bad choicesthe the Donner Party never stood a chance of making it to California in one piece.
April 15th, 1846 89 people and 20 wagons started their Journey, and went into the severe Nevada mountains. Only 45 came out by the time of the last rescue in the late winter of 1847.  The Donner Party tragedy solidified their story into the creepy history books forever.
