  • #87 - "Girl, Interbedded"

No fancy studio. No fancy guest. No fancy introductory paragraph. Just two fellas, Slaton and Shefsky, doing some CRiiiME in San Dimas. The guys get together for an excellent adventure through the bogus journey of Celeste Beard Johnson, a hot trophy wife with a love of money and all the things it can buy. This episode includes ill-placed needles, face wounds and a very indecent proposal.

  • COURT LiiiFE #1 - "I'll Just Plead the 5th"

What's up CRiiiMINALS! Great news, Shefsky had a baby this Monday! Even better news, it came out of his wife's body, not his. That would be weird.

SO this week we are doing something a little different. We had a regular episode planned, but with Shefsky on the shelf last minute, I decided to try something new. On a whim, I took the recorder down to the local courthouse and stopped random people for interviews. The results were better and more interesting than I had imagined.

First, we speak with Michael, a courtroom interpreter. Next, Naser Khoury, a for Assistant DA turned criminal defense attorney turned hopeful judge. Finally, I was lucky enough to convince a young man to speak with me and was SHOCKED to find out why he was there. His story was fascinating.

This episode is way outside of our norm, mostly because I took these conversations seriously. Taking a break from our usual mantra of "Be Silly Have Fun", we get a chance to really listen to a few people tell us why they were at the courthouse on Tuesday, November 13th, 2018.

  • #86 - Doug Krintzman in (Being Lee Harvey Oswaldskovich)

Happy November! This week's episode comes out on Thursday so we could pair it up with the 55th anniversary month of the CRIME in question. Slaton and Shefsky are joined by screenwriter Doug Krintzman for the story of LEE HARVEY OSWALD. Yeah, that guy. No, the other one killed Lincoln. Kennedy. Seriously, you didn't know that? Well, then allow us to educate you. This episode includes a fish torture auction, assassination traffic and uncomfortably direct nicknames.

  • #85 - LiiiVE from Sacramento with Corky McDonnell & Michelle Petro in "Something The Goat Made"

LiiiVE from the Sacramento Comedy Festival and this story is a WILD one. Slaton and Shefsky are joined by Corky McDonnell and Michelle Petro at the Sacramento Comedy Spot for the story of John Brinkley. Ole Johnny boy wanted to be a doctor, but didn't feel like all that schoolin' and stuff. So, of course, he didn't just become a doctor anyway...he became the most famous doctor in America by pioneering one of the most obscenely shocking medical practices ever to get weirdly popular. Strap in folks, it's a long fall to the bottom.

Special thanks to Chris Reinhold for his work on the story!

    Check out Corky McDonnell's podcast!
