In this episode I sit down with my friend, Andrew, host of the Slackers Podcast to discuss his show's new episode.

In addition to hosting his own podcast, Andrew is a frequent guest on other shows such as his friend's "Remember that one time" podcast. We transition to discussing to stock market and my current favorite stock, "The Planet" who also owns the Medizin dispensary. Andrew wanted to know my favorite book which led to him discussing his favorite; The Hobbit. The discussion moved toward how crazy life gets as I age. Andrew is on DUI probation and I just got off DUI probation. A question about tattoos takes a dark turn to my best friend's death and Andrew lightens the mood with a story about an ultrasound on his balls in front of a man

Growing up with an alcoholic parent has been traumatizing to say they least. My mother has been an alcoholic my entire life. She falls to see how this has affected me and her other children. It sometimes feels like she's doesn't care or doesn't care enough to try. Empathy is something I practice but alcohol has ruined many memories and tainted our relationship permanently. There is already narcissism present and the Alcohol only intensifies it. Alcohol is a true devil indeed.

Listening to some old Lil B songs made me think of where I was both mentally and spiritually at the time that music was released. I was in such a positive place and i'd like to get back to that frame of mind. I felt at peace....mostly. Seeing someone with so much confidence allowed me to find my own confidence and adopt some peaceful ways. At that time in my life I was the most pure I have ever been. Not so many scars and an abundance of dreams I felt were achievable.

These thoughts came to me from seeing a baby tree. My father and I planted a tree in the front yard when I was about 11 or 12. We moved away but I drove by maybe 15 years later and the tree was enormous. I am grateful to my father for forcing me to have that experience with him and for the valuable life lessons that came from said experience. All things take time to grow....some require more time than others; including me and my finances lol
