Join the girls this week while they dive into the life and crimes of Robert Hansen, a man better known as The Butcher Baker. He and his family lived in Anchorage, Alaska where he owned his own bakery. To the community, he was a meek and mild family man who served pastries.  However, there was another side to him fueled by dark desires.

 In the late 1970s and throughout the early '80s Robert Hansen kidnapped, tortured, and murdered over 30 young girls and women. It's astonishing he was able to get away with what he had done. He was able to evade capture for years, until the fateful evening, one of his victims escaped.

In May 2014, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, two 12-year-old girls, Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier, lured their best friend Payton "Bella" Leutner into the woods and stabbed her almost twenty times. A few hours later, once the police are involved, Morgan and Anissa reveal why they tried to kill their best friend. They needed to prove themselves worthy of becoming proxies of the Slender Man, a fictional horror character featured in creepypasta and other media types across the internet.

Join the girls this week while they get back into the Lorena Bobbitt story for part two. 

After years of abuse (allegedly), Lorena had hit her breaking point. While her husband, John Wayne Bobbitt, was sleeping one night, she grabbed an 8-inch carving knife and proceeded to cut off the part of him that hurt her the most. What happened next was a media circus, everyone wanted a piece of this story. At the time, Lorena was painted as nothing more than a woman scorned. She was angry that her husband wanted a divorce and threatened her American dream. In reality, Lorena was a victim who felt the impulse to fight back and couldn't do anything to stop it. 

This incredibly divisive case created a man vs. woman narrative that couldn't be escaped. Men couldn't comprehend the violent attack and sympathized with John, women were frustrated that no one was listening, that no one seemed to care how much Lorena had suffered. Now, almost 30 years later, we realize there may be more to this story.

Join the girls this week while they discuss the murder of Cassie Jo Stoddart, a case also known as "The Scream Murder".

In the fall of 2006, she was terrorized and then killed by two classmates while house-sitting for her family one weekend. Brian Draper and Torrey Adamcik were horror movie enthusiasts who one day wanted to make a movie themselves. This obsession took a dark turn once they realized there was something much more sinister bubbling below the surface. Claiming to have been inspired by the movie "Scream" they wanted to become the next big thing in serial killers. They truly intended to wreak so much havoc and chaos that Ted Bundy would look like an amateur by the time they were done. That's almost a direct quote (they video-recorded everything). Their arrogance is staggering. Unfortunately, Cassie became their first victim; thankfully, she was also their last. 

In this week's episode, Bree and Suze dive into the details of Cassie's murder, the why behind it all, and rage at the two responsible for taking her life.

In the summer of 1990, Daniel Rolling took the lives of five college students. A bank robber turned murderer, he single-handedly held the city of Gainesville, Florida, hostage for four long days. Police were desperate to find the person responsible, but they had no leads and very little information to guide them. Eventually, the police found their suspect thanks to some forgotten evidence from a bank robbery that just so happened to take place the same day as one of the murders. The Gainesville Ripper was finally caught and the nightmare for their community came to an end. 

That is until a struggling actor and screenwriter decided to take inspiration from the story and turn it into a very successful movie franchise. Yes, the movie "Scream" was written after Kevin Williamson watched a news story about the Gainesville murders on TV. 

In this week's episode, Bree and Suze will dive into all the details of how the Gainesville Ripper came to be and the murders that inspired one of their favorite movies.
