Crimes of the Many William Hills
News of the Times Episode 324 | 1802 - 1837
This episode looks at three William Hills in England between 1802 to 1837.  All three Williams are accused of outraging (rape).  All three Williams hold very different positions in society.  All three Williams refute the charges against them.
The first William from 1802 stands accused of ravishing a young student of his.
The second William from 1803 is accused of ravishing the wife of a local labourer with great brutality. 
The last William from 1837 is accused of ravishing and then killing a married local barmaid and leaving her dead body in the privy.
Three very different William hills accused of the same crime and all professing their innocence is today’s episode of Frightful Fridays.
