On February 1st, 1966, hundreds of spectators lined up outside the Dade County Courthouse in Miami Florida, hoping to gain admission to a murder trial that had taken the area by storm.
The courtroom was filled to maximum capacity, mostly women, eager to catch a glimpse of one of the accused Candace Mossler, a socialite and wealthy heiress taking center stage in a trial so salacious, people under the age of 21 were barred from entering the courtroom.
