Episode 8- We are back again with another episode for you!

Today we are talking about culture. As a Nigerian daughter, I believe this season would be incomplete without exploring the topic of culture.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with mum again and asking her what culture means to her and why is so important to her.

In the episode I ask mum: "What can parents do to help their children fall in love with their roots and heritage?"

We are joined again by my beautiful mum. I have to say that recording the latest episodes has been an honour. It is so easy sometimes to see our parents only for who they are now and forget that they are also the product of their past and their environment.

In this episode, mum opens up on some of her experiences around the difficulties and joy of raising children up in a foreign country.

Living with African parents!

In this episode, myself and Tereza discuss some of our experiences on the matter. We explore some similarities and differences, touching on the importance of making life changing decisions as a way to unlock the next chapters in our lives.
