I've been working hard on polishing my static combinations, and although I still haven't achieved the total fluidity I'm looking for, the video shows a tangible improvement compared to previous sessions. Every adjustment in posture and every second gained in tension counts. At the same time, it was an honor to guide a colleague in the Scorpion technique, sharing the details that make the difference in mastering this dynamic with safety and control.

La verdadera esencia de nuestra comunidad se vive en días como este. Mientras yo luchaba por conectar mis estáticos, ver a mi compañero aplicar las correcciones y prácticamente dominar ya su Scorpion fue increíblemente motivador. Ese ciclo de aprender, enseñar y superarse juntos es lo que nos hace más fuertes. Celebramos cada avance, por pequeño que sea, porque sabemos que es un paso más en el camino.

The true essence of our community is experienced on days like this. While I struggled to connect my statics, watching my partner apply the corrections and practically master his Scorpion was incredibly motivating. Incluí freestyle sencillo para mantener la agilidad y fluidez, y trabajé estáticos con el objetivo de no ceder ni un segundo en mis holds. La consistencia se construye sobre lo que ya sabes.

Greetings to the entire #SWC community! 👋 Today I'm sharing the focus of my latest session: conservation and reinforcement training. Sometimes, in the search for new tricks, we can neglect those we've already mastered, losing precision and confidence. That's why today I dedicated myself to reviewing and strengthening my entire technical foundation, making sure I didn't lose a single movement. I included simple freestyle to maintain agility and fluidity, and I worked on static holds with the goal of not giving up a single second in my holds. Consistency is built on what you already know.

Este trabajo, aunque menos glamoroso que aprender un truco nuevo, es fundamental para cualquier atleta serio. Es la base que me permitirá asimilar movimientos más complejos con una técnica impecable y menor riesgo de lesión. Y justamente, esto es el preludio de lo que viene. Muy pronto comenzaré a introducir y postear mi proceso de aprendizaje con trucos dinámicos de alto nivel. ¡Estén atentos porque se viene un nuevo ciclo de evolución! La paciencia y el trabajo duro son la clave.

This work, although less glamorous than learning a new trick, is essential for any serious athlete. It is the foundation that will allow me to assimilate more complex movements with impeccable technique and less risk of injury. And this is precisely the prelude to what is coming. ¡Saludos, familia #SWC! Hoy fue un día especial para el entrenamiento. Después de esperarlo con ansias, por fin llegó a mis manos en Maracay un nuevo magnesio que pedí desde Valencia. ¡La emoción de estrenarlo era mucha! Inmediatamente organicé una sesión con mis amigos para ponerlo a prueba. Mientras yo me enfoqué en perfeccionar combos sencillos, buscando la máxima limpieza y fluidez en cada movimiento, mis compañeros se dedicaron a practicar y pulir nuevos trucos, cada uno avanzando a su ritmo pero unidos por la misma pasión y las ganas de progresar.

Greetings, #SWC family! Today was a special day for training. After eagerly awaiting it, a new magnesium powder that I ordered from Valencia finally arrived in Maracay. I was so excited to try it out! I immediately organized a session with my friends to put it to the test. While I focused on perfecting simple combos, seeking maximum cleanliness and fluidity in each movement, my teammates dedicated themselves to practicing and polishing new tricks, each advancing at their own pace but united by the same passion and desire to progress.

La sensación de agarre con el nuevo magnesio fue increíble desde el primer momento, dándonos esa confianza extra para entrenar con más seguridad. Fue una sesión productiva y llena de buena energía, donde la colaboración y las ganas de aprender fueron lo más importante. Ver a cada uno enfocado en su objetivo, apoyándose y celebrando los pequeños logros, es lo que hace que esta comunidad sea única. ¡Seguro este magnesio será testigo de muchos más progresos! The grip sensation with the new chalk was incredible from the very first moment, giving us that extra confidence to train more safely. It was a productive session full of good energy, where collaboration and the desire to learn were the most important things. ¡Saludos, familia #SWC! 👊 La Legends of the Bars ya es historia, y qué competencia tan épica e impredecible. El nivel fue tan alto y cerrado que era imposible adivinar un ganador hasta el último momento. Yo llegué con la fe y la preparación al máximo, sintiendo que podía luchar por el podio. Avancé con confianza en octavos de final y llegué a cuartos con esa misma seguridad, sintiendo que la victoria estaba a mi alcance. El ambiente era bastante emocioante y estaba listo para dar lo mejor de mí en cada combo.

Greetings, #SWC family! Legends of the Bars is now history, and what an epic and unpredictable competition it was. The level was so high and close that it was impossible to predict a winner until the very last moment. I arrived with maximum faith and preparation, feeling that I could fight for the podium. I advanced confidently in the round of 16 and reached the quarterfinals with that same confidence, feeling that victory was within my reach. The atmosphere was electric, and I was ready to give my best in every combo.

Sin embargo, en un giro del destino, una caída inesperada ejecutando un 540° (un movimiento que ya domino) cambió todo. Intenté recuperarme, pero el sistema de puntuación, que castiga con dureza las caídas, no me dio opción. Mi oponente se llevó la victoria. La decepción por ese error es inmensa, pero no me quedo solo con eso. Caer es parte del camino, y hoy me levanto con más hambre y más aprendizaje. Esta experiencia no me frena, me da más razones para volver más fuerte. Gracias a todos por el apoyo.

However, in a twist of fate, an unexpected fall while performing a 540° (a move I have mastered) changed everything. I tried to recover, but the scoring system, which severely penalizes falls, gave me no chance. My opponent took the victory. The disappointment over that mistake is immense, but I'm not dwelling on it. Falling is part of the journey, and today I wake up hungrier and wiser. This experience doesn't slow me down; it gives me more reasons to come back stronger. Thank you all for your support.

Junto a mi hermano de entreno, @yeremy-sw, nos dimos un pase por el Parque Las Ballenitas de Maracay para una sesión de freestyle con un objetivo claro: afilar los combos que llevaremos a la gran Legends of the Bars este sábado 18 de octubre. Cada movimiento, cada transición entre dinámicos y estáticos, fue ejecutado con la mentalidad de competencia. El ambiente era perfecto, y tener a mi compañero de duo al lado elevó la intensidad desde el primer minuto. La inspiración que tuvimos para nuestras ideas sobre la barra es nuestra mayor ventaja.

Greetings, #SWC family! The date is approaching and the excitement is growing. Together with my training partner, @yeremy-sw, we stopped by Las Ballenitas Park in Maracay for a freestyle session with a clear goal: to hone the combos we will perform at the big Legends of the Bars event this Saturday, October 18. Every move, every transition between dynamic and static, was executed with a competitive mindset. The atmosphere was perfect, and having my duo partner by my side raised the intensity from the very first minute. The inspiration we had for our ideas on the bar is our biggest advantage.

Más que un simple entrenamiento, esta tarde fue una inmersión total. Nos inspiramos mutuamente para encadenar trucos con mayor fluidez y dificultad, siempre con la mirada puesta en el podio. Disfrutar del proceso bajo el sol de Maracay, riendo pero con una concentración férrea, es lo que da sentido a todo el sacrificio. Ya estamos mental y físicamente listos para dejar todo en Las Leyendas. ¡Maracay se va a sentir fuerte! Esto ha sido mi post espreo les haya gustado, seguiremos con más contenido de calidad. More than just training, this afternoon was a total immersion. We inspired each other to string together tricks with greater fluidity and difficulty, always with our sights set on the podium. Enjoying the process under the Maracay sun, laughing but with fierce concentration, is what gives meaning to all the sacrifice. Tomé el riesgo y aumenté la dificultad de mis combos, buscando mayor complejidad y un flujo más agresivo que me diferenciara. Fue una decisión tomada bajo presión, pero necesaria. El esfuerzo valió la pena y conseguí el pasar a la semifinal.
