Alex and Emily recap their five favorite things from the dumpster fire that was 2017. We talk about some of the good things that got us through the year.

This week, Alex realizes that they're old. We also talk about the joy of puzzle solving, one technique for solving difficult problems, our frustrations with certain cultural norms, and Emily's gift-receiving preferences.

We just slightly miss the mark as we talk about some lovey dovey stuff for the week after Valentine's day, but that's kind of our thing. We also try out a new format while talking about good bakes and good neighbors.
