Gifted (or cursed) with the mantle of the Black Rider of Baba Yaga, the party leaps through portal and travels thousands of miles north into Irrisen. Unsure who or what to trust, they have no idea what's in store for them on the other side.

This ragtag party continues forward in the Border Wood to find the Winter Portal, but why is it here? They may need help for that one. With danger lurking around every corner, will they ever find the ally they need?

Having saved the unappreciative Lady Argentea, the party heads back to Heldren for respite. It's not long before the town begs them to head back out and discover the cause of the wintry chaos that is spreading from the woods into town. As they approach the center of the storm, the party stumbles across a young girl bearing ominous tidings and a hut that is nothing like they have ever seen.

In the wintry Border Wood, the party discovers the name of a man they assume to be behind the kidnapping of Lady Argentea Malassene. But, a name doesn't save a damsel in distress. Will the party be able to heroically save the lady or freeze in their tracks?
