In June of the year 2000 - 15 year old Leah Freeman of Coquille, OR went missing. Five weeks later her body was discovered just miles outside of town. The case went cold for ten years. After a new sheriff came to town, the authorities made an arrest feeling as though they finally had caught the guy who was responsible for her death. Leah's high school sweetheart Nick Macguffin was convicted of manslaughter in the year 2011.  The only problem was, is Nick the real killer or is the actual killer still out on the loose?
