In this week's lesson, we see that Mary Madelene returns a second time to Jesus' empty tomb. She meets two angels, and Jesus also presents Himself to her; however, she doesn't recognize Him at first because she is so focused on Jesus' dead body. This tells us that she doesn't understand the Resurrection. She finally realizes that the person she is talking with is her Lord, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

We also see two religious leaders, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus, both believe that Jesus was the Messiah, go to Pilate and ask for Jesus' body. They prepare Jesus' body with spices and wrap Him in linen. They put Jesus in the new tomb that belongs to Joseph of Arimathea.

In this week's lesson, we will learn that Jesus is on His journey to the cross at the place of the skull called Golgotha, also called Calvary. We will also discover that through Jesus' crucifixion, a new family is born, a Kingdom family.

In this week's lesson, we see that as Jesus is getting questioned by the high priest, Peter is in the courtyard, by the fire, and he denies Jesus three times just as Jesus had predicted.
